Wow. Time really flies by. Time for a status update.

July was really slow and didn't work very well. But things are speeding up again. When we checked our task list this week, we noticed that we implemented all the gameplay changes and created the basics for the Poneh Zen minigame.

Here's a list of what we did and what we are currently testing:

- Dodge, which is basically a Boost just before you are getting hit by something. - Absorb to replace Reflect; Reflect was really useless, so instead of reflecting bullets you absorb them and they increase the damage of your regular shots. - Throwing is much better now; Higher damage and better throw speeds. - Carrying items got an overhaul, so you can carry around more stuff. - More Stamina, which increases Damage if you eat stuff. - Appetite Based Life Leech; Now you heal when you are hungry and hit the enemies with Boost. - You can now grab things from the environment and throw them. - Some improvements with Player/Monster/Collectible-Interactions.

When testing is done and we solved a bunch of errors and bugs, we are releasing a new Unstable Build, which you can get on Discord or Itch.

After we put out the Unstable Build, we will do a few smaller things, like updating tutorials, texts and a few menu entries here and there. This will give us some more time to react on big issues we have missed in the Unstable Build and prepare for another big update.

When this is done, our last big push to get the demo out on Steam will be improvements to the crafting system and proper implementation of Poneh Zen.
